RedCurrent (now defunct) was a tech start-up based on an app to help busy people (mainly parents of young children) to easily and effectively find events and activities. I was a contributing writer for the business's blog, which started with showcasing events in the Twin Cities, with the plan to expand to other cities. As with the majority of startups, the company didn't take off. The silver lining is that there was great interest in the blog, since people are generally interested in learning about the interesting things happening locally. But demand for the main product, the app, did not materialize.
